You guys probably don't know me. My name is Emil Andersen, I'm 20 years old and I went to Peachgrove Intermediate with Kori (must be 10 years ago now). My family and I had just moved from Denmark to NZ (we stayed in NZ for 8 months) and I was a bit nervous about starting in school. Even though it's many years ago I remember stepping into my new classroom and feeling surrounded by all these new faces. I didn't really know how to react. A lot of staring and not so much talking. But when I sat down Kori broke the tension and immediately started talking to me. Actually I'm pretty sure that one of the first things he said to me was that he could be my friend since I didn't really know anyone. He made it so much easier for me to go to school. Especially because I knew that he would look out for me. No doubt that he was one of my best friends at peachgrove! Can't tell you how much it meant to me to have someone so welcoming and friendly. I recently just started wondering what happened to him and google'd his name. And then I found this. What a tragedy. R.I.P. Kori..
